Westcon signs European distribution agreement with Menlo Security
The Menlo Security Global Cloud Secure Web Gateway (SWG) is built on an Isolation Core™ securing users from malicious phishing, email and web browser attacks
London, UK—September 7, 2020—Westcon, the leading technology distributor, has today announced that it has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Menlo Security— the world’s first and only Cloud Secure Web Gateway with an Isolation Core™.
Following the recent announcement of our Next Generation Solutions (NGS) go-to-market initiative, we aim to help our customers build recurring revenue models in a cloud-first world. This agreement with Menlo Security allows us to strengthen our best-of-breed portfolio of vendors by offering partners access to the industry’s leading cloud security architecture, based on a patented Isolation Core™.
Menlo Security’s cloud-based isolation platform protects organisations from cyber-attacks by eliminating the threat of malware introduction from websites, documents and emails. Users are offered the unique ability to block 100% of all malware – including exploits, ransomware and zero-day attacks. Menlo Security’s innovative technology separates users and networks from the public internet through secure, low-latency connections to the web and SaaS applications.
Daniel Hurel, Vice President of Westcon EMEA, Cyber Security & Next Gen Solutions (NGS), Westcon said: “Onboarding Menlo Security’s solutions adds another string to our bow when it comes to offering our customers the best security platforms available on the market. With our ever-evolving vendor portfolio, we’re pleased to be able to help our partners across Europe strengthen their security offerings.
“With its unique isolation core that secures access to data and applications, Menlo Security’s platform is a real industry first. Being built in the cloud, specifically for the cloud, it strengthens our Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offering - an area that we continue to develop in-line with remote worker requirements and cloud transformation. We are really pleased to have Menlo Security as part of our NGS portfolio, and are looking forward to helping grow its position within the European market.”
John Brown, Director of EMEA Channels at Menlo Security said: “We feel it’s so important to have a close, proactive and mutually beneficial relationship with a wide variety of partners. This new agreement with Westcon will be a great opportunity for us to develop our channel community and to continue expanding the businesses across Europe. Westcon’s NGS division combines the depth and breadth of reach you get from an extremely well-established global player with the agility and focus of a cutting-edge cloud-first distributor; with their detailed understanding of cyber security we are absolutely confident that the partnership with Westcon will be instrumental in achieving our growth targets in Europe.”
