CEO
A veteran of Internet security, Amir co-founded Menlo Security to pioneer a new approach. He was vice president of cloud security at Juniper Networks, where he helped define company strategy for securing the virtualized data center, and public and private clouds. He joined Juniper via its acquisition of Altor Networks, where he was founder and CEO. Before that, he was an executive at pioneer Internet security Check Point Software. Amir holds an MBA from UCLA, an MSEE from Stanford University, and a BSEE from UC Berkeley.
Chief Product Officer
Poornima co-founded Menlo Security, bringing years of product management experience to the table. Before Menlo, she was a product management executive at Juniper Networks, responsible for cloud security, security management, and security analytics. She joined Juniper via its acquisition of Altor Networks, where she was vice president of product management and business development. Prior to that, she was head of business development at Check Point in product management and engineering roles. Poormina holds an MSCS from Arizona State University.
CISO
As Menlo’s CISO, Devin is responsible for providing internal cybersecurity guidance and policy insights to both the company and our customers. He is also focused on reducing the company’s risk and security exposure. Devin has nearly 20 years of experience in cybersecurity. His previous experience includes security positions in several Fortune 100 organizations. During his time with both Mandiant and the U.S Federal Reserve, Devin had hands-on experience mitigating large, high-profile breaches and dealing with highly motivated global threat actors.
Chief Marketing Officer
Pejman (Pej) Roshan leads Menlo Security’s Marketing organization. Pej has over 25 years of product and marketing experience, successfully leading go-to-market teams for pioneering companies of all sizes, including Agito Networks, ShoreTel, Teridion, Cisco Systems, Aruba Networks, Xilinx, and VMware.
Chief Human Resources Officer
As Menlo’s CHRO, Kate is responsible for all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, engagement, health and wellness initiatives, and outreach to the community. Most recently, Kate was Chief People Officer at Aktana, where she was responsible for the company’s people strategy to enable business results. Prior to Aktana, she was CHRO for Driscoll’s, a company with more than $3.5 Billion in sales. Kate held several leadership roles at Whirlpool, including leading HR for the Global Product Development organization. Kate sits on the Cabrillo College Foundation board. She also was Board Chair of LeaderShape, a non-profit leadership development organization whose focus is to help young adults learn to live and lead with integrity.
Chief Revenue Officer
John brings 20 years of experience to Menlo with a track record of proven success growing revenue, building teams and business development. Most recently, John was CRO for Skytap, where he established partnerships with cloud providers, transforming Skytap's GTM efforts and driving growth. John was previously with NetApp as VP, cloud data service, sales, and business development. John launched and led sales for cloud data services, growing revenues from zero to $150M in just 3 years, making it NetApp’s fastest growing business. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University.
VP Product Management
Nick joins Menlo with deep product management experience and by way of GradientOne, where he was CEO for over 5 years. Before that, he was VP of Marketing & Products at Silver Tail Systems, where he led all aspects of marketing and product management. Prior, he was at Cisco Systems as group product manger and then director—leading a team of 35 and $500 million annual run rate of security products. He holds an MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School and a BS in Control Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
VP of Engineering
As VP of Engineering at Menlo, Tim guides the engineering team to enable the world to connect, communicate, and collaborate securely without compromise. Tim is a 30-year veteran of Silicon Valley, working in the enterprise networking, wireless, unified communications, and security spaces. Prior to Menlo, he was VP of Engineering at Mitel/ShoreTel where he provided leadership to a global R&D team focused on delivering world-class, cloud-first communication and collaboration applications. Tim has also founded multiple Silicon Valley startups that resulted in acquisition by companies such as Cisco and ShoreTel. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Chico State University.
Vice President, Global Channels
Todd Wilson is Menlo’s vice president of global channels. Reporting to CRO John Wrobel, Todd’s charter is to build and lead Menlo’s global channel program. Most recently Todd was with AppOmni, where he led the company’s global channels and alliances efforts in the Software as a Service (SaaS) security market. Previously, Todd spent 4.5 years at NetSkope, leading their Go-To-Market efforts with service providers and global system integrators including Deloitte, Accenture, AT&T and Verizon. Todd’s nearly 20 years of security industry experience includes global channel management positions with AT&T and Forcepoint. Todd has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance from Penn State University.
Partner, General Catalyst
Mark Crane acquired his respect for entrepreneurs through his own journey as a founder. As a freshman at Amherst, he jumped at the opportunity to operate his own business. When he graduated, he sought out a role in finance to gain a deeper understanding of the underlying metrics that make a business successful. Working closely with investors and entrepreneurs at JMI and Cove Hill showed him how complex and wonderful those roles and relationships could be. The drive to help identify and collaborate with impactful founders across the technology ecosystem is what ultimately led him to General Catalyst.
Board Member
Joe Sexton is the former President of Worldwide Field Operations at AppDynamics. Prior to AppDynamics, he spent significant time in senior leadership roles at McAfee, Mercury Interactive, and CA Technologies. Joe is currently on the Board of Directors for CrowdStrike, Menlo Security, D2IQ, and BrainBox Intelligent Marketing. He is an Executive Advisor to the CEO of DecisionLink and was recently on the Executive Advisory Board of PagerDuty. Joe earned his BA in Marketing from the University of Kentucky. He is very passionate about mentorship, helping women succeed in the workplace, and teaching salespeople how to become Value Professionals.
Managing Director atVista Equity Partners
Ryan Atlas joined Vista Equity Partners in 2012 and is currently a member of the private equity foundation team. He sits on the boards of Allocate, Granicus, LogicMonitor, Tomia, and Wrike. He was actively involved in the firm’s investments in Autotask, Bullhorn, Main Street Hub, Naviga, Relias Learning, and Return Path. Before joining Vista, Ryan worked at JMI Equity (over $4 billion under management), where he focused on growth and buyout investments of software and technology-enabled businesses. Before that, Ryan advised clients on both strategy and operations in a variety of industries at McKinsey & Company. He holds a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University.
