Amir Ben-Efraim is co-founder and CEO of Menlo Security. Previously, Amir was VP of cloud security at Juniper Networks where he helped define the company’s strategy to secure the virtualized data center, public and private clouds. He joined Juniper via its acquisition of Altor Networks, which he led as founder and CEO. Prior to Altor, Amir was an executive at Check Point Software, a pioneer in Internet security. He holds an MBA from UCLA, an MSEE from Stanford University and a BSEE from UC Berkeley.
Poornima DeBolle is co-founder and chief product officer of Menlo Security. Previously, as a product management executive at Juniper Networks, she was responsible for cloud security, security management, and security analytics. Poornima joined Juniper via its acquisition of Altor Networks where she was the VP of product management and business development. Prior to Altor, she was head of business development at Check Point where she also held product management and engineering roles. Poornima holds an MSCS from Arizona State University.
Kowsik Guruswamy is CTO of Menlo Security. Previously, he was co-founder and CTO at Mu Dynamics, which pioneered a new way to analyze networked products for security vulnerabilities. Prior to Mu, he was a distinguished engineer at Juniper Networks. Kowsik joined Juniper via the NetScreen/OneSecure acquisition where he designed and implemented the industry's first IPS. He has more than 15+ years of experience in diverse technologies like security, cloud, data visualization, and computer graphics. Kowsik has 18 issued patents and holds an MSCS from University of Louisiana.
David Eckstein is Chief Financial Officer of Menlo Security overseeing all matters relating to finance, accounting and legal. During his tenure at Menlo, he has raised over $200 million across 3 rounds of financing. Prior to Menlo Security, David was head of finance for Cisco Cloud Security, via its $635 million acquisition of OpenDNS, where he had served as Senior Director of Finance. Before OpenDNS, David was a Senior Finance Manager at Box where he focused on corporate finance, capital markets, investor relations and treasury. David obtained his BSBA from Washington University, and earned his MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics.
Scott Fuselier is Chief Revenue Officer for Menlo Security. He is responsible for the company's global sales efforts and expansion. He has a proven track record in building and leading teams to high achievement for both direct and channel models. Most recently, Scott was Chief Revenue Officer for ProtectWise (acquired by Verizon), a leading provider of cloud-delivered network detection and response. Prior to that role, he was the Senior Vice President of Sales for CrowdStrike, a SaaS-based endpoint security company where Scott grew the sales team from three to over 225 members with growth of over 100 percent YoY. He also built and led high performing teams at market leaders McAfee and EMC/Documentum in sales leadership. Scott earned a B.A. from Syracuse University and a Master in Management from Thunderbird: Global School of International Management.
Steven Wastie is Chief Marketing Officer at Menlo Security. In this role, he is responsible for building and scaling the marketing function to elevate the market position of the company and orchestrate go-to-market execution to drive revenue and category positioning worldwide.
Steven is a full-stack marketer with over 20 years of experience leading diverse marketing organizations in fast-moving, highly competitive technology markets in the US, EMEA, and Asia. He brings a strong background in building brand awareness and the keen ability to leverage marketing technology and data analytics to drive sustainable revenue results, build dynamic teams, and lead organizations as they scale. He joins us from Data Operations provider, Unravel Data, and has held various leadership roles including CMO at AppDynamics and VP, Enterprise Marketing at Juniper Networks.
Gautam Altekar is co-founder and chief architect at Menlo Security. Previously, he was the chief architect at Safely Inc., a Berkeley spin-off that he started with Professor Dawn Song to develop and commercialize isolation security technology that is now at the heart of Menlo Security's offering. Prior to Safely, Gautam was a graduate student at UC Berkeley where he got his PhD in deterministic replay systems and published several papers at the intersection of cloud computing, operating systems, and program analysis.
Lennart van den Ende, VP of Worldwide Sales Engineering is a cyber security veteran with extensive security technology and sales engineering experience, who builds and leads high performing global sales engineering teams. Lennart joins Menlo Security from FireEye, where he built the worldwide SE organization leading to FireEye’s IPO and led the sales engineering transition of IronPort into the Cisco Security portfolio. Lennart is a graduate of UC Berkeley and emigrated to the US from the Netherlands.
Rosemary J. Fantozzi is VP, People, and Places at Menlo Security, responsible for the end-to-end employee experience including recruiting, people operations and workplace services. Previously, Rosemary held numerous HR leadership roles at both late-stage start-ups and large multinational organizations including Symantec, Twitter, Otsuka, and Chevron. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Labor Studies from Hofstra University, and a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Rosemary lives in Mountain View with her partner and little boy.
Jeff Rachlin is the VP of Customer Success at Menlo, responsible for our customers' overall satisfaction and success with our service. He brings over 15 years of Customer Success and Renewals experience to our team. Prior to Menlo, Jeff worked in Cisco's Customer Experience leadership team where he built and led the company's first Global Renewals organization, responsible for over 100k customers and $4B in revenue.
