Amir Ben-Efraim is co-founder and CEO of Menlo Security. Previously, Amir was VP of cloud security at Juniper Networks where he helped define the company’s strategy to secure the virtualized data center, public and private clouds. He joined Juniper via its acquisition of Altor Networks, which he led as founder and CEO. Prior to Altor, Amir was an executive at Check Point Software, a pioneer in Internet security. He holds an MBA from UCLA, an MSEE from Stanford University and a BSEE from UC Berkeley.
Poornima DeBolle is co-founder and chief product officer of Menlo Security. Previously, as a product management executive at Juniper Networks, she was responsible for cloud security, security management, and security analytics. Poornima joined Juniper via its acquisition of Altor Networks where she was the VP of product management and business development. Prior to Altor, she was head of business development at Check Point where she also held product management and engineering roles. Poornima holds an MSCS from Arizona State University.
Kowsik Guruswamy is CTO of Menlo Security. Previously, he was co-founder and CTO at Mu Dynamics, which pioneered a new way to analyze networked products for security vulnerabilities. Prior to Mu, he was a distinguished engineer at Juniper Networks. Kowsik joined Juniper via the NetScreen/OneSecure acquisition where he designed and implemented the industry's first IPS. He has more than 15+ years of experience in diverse technologies like security, cloud, data visualization, and computer graphics. Kowsik has 18 issued patents and holds an MSCS from University of Louisiana.
Todd Vender is VP of engineering at Menlo Security, responsible for both product development and operations. Todd brings more than 20 years of experience leading, innovating, and driving both cloud and on premise product development across multiple areas including web portals, data integration, content management, search, and collaboration. Prior to Menlo Security, Todd was vice president of engineering at Oracle where he was responsible for the WebCenter and Portal platform suites consisting of several industry-leading products including Oracle WebCenter, Weblogic Portal and Oracle Portal.
Gautam Altekar is co-founder and chief architect at Menlo Security. Previously, he was the chief architect at Safely Inc., a Berkeley spin-off that he started with Professor Dawn Song to develop and commercialize isolation security technology that is now at the heart of Menlo Security's offering. Prior to Safely, Gautam was a graduate student at UC Berkeley where he got his PhD in deterministic replay systems and published several papers at the intersection of cloud computing, operating systems, and program analysis.
Doug Schultz is VP Worldwide Sales at Menlo Security. He brings more than 20 years of experience building strategy, teams and business. Prior to joining Menlo Security, Doug was VP of Sales Asia Pacific at FireEye where he built-out initial teams and business to triple digit revenue growth. Prior to FireEye, Doug served in sales leadership roles at Foundry Networks, Cabletron Systems and Zenith Data Systems servicing U.S. Federal, Domestic and International customers. Doug has a BA in Business/MIS from Washington State University.
Lennart van den Ende, VP of Worldwide Sales Engineering is a cyber security veteran with extensive security technology and sales engineering experience, who builds and leads high performing global sales engineering teams. Lennart joins Menlo Security from FireEye, where he built the worldwide SE organization leading to FireEye’s IPO and led the sales engineering transition of IronPort into the Cisco Security portfolio. Lennart is a graduate of UC Berkeley and emigrated to the US from the Netherlands.
