Forcepoint constraints

Nonexistent HEAT Attack Visibility & Protection

Traditional SWGs are failing to protect organizations from Highly Evasive Adaptive Threats (HEAT). Cybercriminals are leveraging HEAT attacks to hide in plain sight and easily bypass SWGs. The result? Malware payloads, like ransomware, are delivered, resulting in a costly outcome.

Limited Application Visibility

Inline inspection provides limited visibility into cloud apps even while organizations continue to expand their use of these apps. Policy controls default to allow/deny with limited risk scoring for web security.

DLP Complexity

Web security provides for integrated basic DLP but implementing enterprise DLP requires a separate solution which brings a separate console, and additional policy creation. This provides for confusing DLP rules and policies when data comes in from the web and hundreds of applications.

Legacy Appliance Approach

Appliances have inflexible compute capacity which doesn’t scale to inspect encrypted traffic, provide advanced threat protection capabilities, or store every expanding web and app logs and metadata. Keeping appliances updated and patched can prove to be much more challenging than cloud delivered services.

Incomplete Integration

Management consoles and policy creation are not fully integrated for secure web gateway (SWG), cloud access security broker (CASB), data loss prevention (DLP), and zero-trust network access (ZTNA) solutions.

Remote User Access

Requires multiple agents to give users remote security and cloud access. Limited global points of presences (PoPs) can hamper user experience.

Isolation-Powered Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)

CASB functionality provides granular policy control for SaaS applications and deep visibility of app traffic to ensure compliance. Integrates seamlessly with third-party CASB solutions.

Elastic Edge

Cloud-native and high performance, the Elastic Edge is built to scale globally on demand. It dynamically scales to meet enterprise-level growth—from 1000 users to over 3M— with no performance hit, and is easily extendible with a rich set of APIs and integrations.

Preserved security and privacy.

Encrypted traffic management for top-notch analysis. Intercept and inspect TLS/SSL-encrypted web browsing traffic and expose hidden threats in encrypted sessions.

One platform, one interface.

Our approach converges SWG, CASB and DLP capabilities into a single cloud-native platform, eliminating multiple appliances and giving IT Teams one interface to navigate.

SWG & SASE Security

Banish malware. Only our cloud-native, converged SWG and CASB platform puts security into SASE and keeps malware from reaching users. Entirely.
